Alumilite Amazing Tan Casting Resin is a fast-curing, general-purpose opaque tan urethane casting resin, ideal for detailed mould projects, resin casting, model making, prop making and a wide range of creative craft projects. With its low viscosity and excellent flow, it captures intricate mould detail beautifully while producing a strong, durable finished casting.
This professional-quality casting resin begins to harden in approximately 3 minutes and can be de-moulded in around 30 minutes, making it an excellent choice for projects where speed matters. During the curing process, the resin changes from translucent yellow to a solid opaque tan, allowing you to see the transformation as it sets.
With a simple 1:1 mix ratio by weight, Alumilite Amazing Casting Resin is easy to measure, mix and pour, making it suitable for both experienced makers and those new to resin casting. Once cured, the resin can be painted, stained, drilled and carved, while solvent dyes and mica powders can be used to create custom colours and effects.
Please note: This is a casting resin designed specifically for mould casting and is not intended for thin coats, sealing images or shallow bezel fills.
