Professionally refinished by hand, this iconic Stag Minstrel tallboy has been completely transformed into a striking piece of luxury upcycled furniture. The drawer fronts feature a richly embossed faux crocodile skin texture painted in deep Coal Black by Fusion Mineral Paint, creating a moody, tactile finish full of depth and character. Contrasting beautifully against the smooth black frame, the entire piece has been sealed in layers of satin varnish for durability and a soft contemporary sheen.
Original brushed gold ring pull handles add timeless elegance, while the three central drawers feature ornate cast iron card catalogue label holders finished in gold leaf. Inside sit custom labels reading “THIS”, “THAT”, and “the OTHER” — a playful, design-led detail that gives this black chest of drawers its unique personality.
