How to Use Decoupage Fibre Paper
1. Prepare your surface – Ensure your chosen surface is clean, dry and suitably prepared for decoupage.
2. Plan your design – Position your paper and decide where you want your main imagery and coordinating elements to sit.
3. Apply decoupage medium – Apply a suitable decoupage adhesive or medium to the surface, then carefully place the paper over it.
4. Smooth the paper – Gently smooth the paper from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles and wrinkles, taking care not to overstretch the fibre paper.
5. Seal and finish – Once dry, apply your chosen protective topcoat or decoupage medium as appropriate for your project and desired finish.
