How to Apply Foil Transfers®
1. Prepare your surface – Ensure your chosen surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose finishes. Paint or prepare the surface if required and allow it to dry completely.
2. Plan your design – Cut out the transfer elements you want to use and position them on your project before removing the backing.
3. Apply the transfer – Carefully remove the backing sheet and place the transfer onto your chosen surface. Gently rub over the design using the included transfer tool or a suitable applicator.
4. Remove the carrier sheet – Slowly peel away the clear carrier sheet, checking that the entire design has transferred. Reapply pressure to any areas that need attention.
5. Finish your project – Once applied, gently burnish the foil transfer if required and protect your finished design with a suitable topcoat or finish appropriate for your surface and intended use.
