A beautiful vintage Lladró Baby Jesus porcelain figurine, depicting the Christ Child peacefully sleeping with his head resting on a white pillow, nestled on a softly textured bed of pale green straw-like bedding.
Made in Spain by Lladró, this beautifully detailed figurine has delicate facial features, softly curled limbs and gentle pastel colouring, finished with the glossy glaze characteristic of Lladró porcelain.
Model 4670 – Baby Jesus (Niño Jesús) was sculpted by Juan Huerta and introduced in 1969 as part of Lladró’s Nativity collection. The model was produced until 2001, making this a lovely vintage example with considerable appeal to Lladró and Nativity collectors.
The underside carries the distinctive blue LLADRÓ – Hand Made in Spain mark, together with impressed markings.
At approximately 9.5 cm long × 5.5 cm wide × 5 cm high, this is a small and beautifully proportioned piece, ideal for a Christmas Nativity display, alongside other Lladró Nativity figures, or simply as a charming collectible in a cabinet or on a shelf.
